SO... Transformers 2 was AMAZING.. even though I fell asleep.. but I definitely was up long enough to see these two autobots who were depicting a slew of black stereotypes...
Then I read this article about it.. Allyson Nadia Field, an assistant professor of cinema and media studies at the University of California, Los Angeles said this:
"There's a persistent dehumanization of African-Americans throughout Hollywood that displaces issues of race onto non-human entities.. It's not about skin color or robot color. It's about how their actions and language are coded racially."

You cant really see it in this picture, but the green one has buck teeth and one of them are gold. In each scene they banter back and forth in "jive/broken ebonics"... Even though it may have been intended for comic relief, its still offensive because why do they have to "talk black" in order to get a laugh?
